Producing, engineering, mixing, co-writing, arranging, programming, crafting & playing parts, finding the right players, or all of the above. I do whatever it takes to translate your ideas into reality.
Whether you have chords and a melody, a full-band arrangement with the parts worked out, or even just some lyrics and inspiration - I'm here to bring your vision to life.
Original music written to picture, or licensing of existing tracks from my catalogue, my music has been heard in major productions around the world.
I have been playing guitar and electric bass for over 20 years, and am also a solid backup/harmony (and occasional lead) vocalist.
I am fully equipped to record remotely, and am equally comfortable working from detailed charts and demos, as I am at improvising or developing parts based on your ideas.

My name is Andrew Lauzon and I am a producer, engineer, composer, multi-instrumentalist and registered audiologist. I currently hold the position of head producer/engineer at the legendary Grant Avenue Studio in Hamilton, Canada.
I have written original score for network television and feature films, and had my music used in major productions such as Super Bowl LI, Saturday Night Live, The Daily Show, Dateline NBC, and Adam Ruins Everything.
In the studio, I have been fortunate to have worked with such incredible mentors, Sylvia Massy, David Bottrill, Mark Howard and Steve Thompson - so I have learned from the best, honed my craft, and created music with some amazingly talented artists.
As a guitarist, bassist, and vocalist, I've shared stages and tours with the likes of Paramore, Coheed and Cambria, Sum 41, Billy Talent and Three Days Grace among others and in 2013, travelled to Egypt with Canadian alt-rock supergroup Crash Karma to play for military troops stationed in the Sinai desert. Since 2015, I have been a member of Grammy-nominated punk band Green Jelly.
I hold an honours B.A. in Cognitive Psychology and Music, a Master of Clinical Science in Audiology, and have seen my research on perception published in a peer-reviewed scientific journal. I developed and taught multiple courses in the Recording Arts programme at Centennial College for almost 10 years.
I thrive when engaged in the process of getting inside an artist's head and bringing inspiration to life. I believe in using the best of modern technology to sculpt pristine sounds, balancing that with organic-sounding performances and elements of rawness for the best of both worlds.
I get truly inspired by chatting with creative people about new projects. Drop me a line, I'd love to hear your vision!!
